Editing Bikers NY (section)

==Formation from the South 9 Bikers==
The South 9 Bikers were a Williamsburg street gang and neighborhood club active by the 1970s. A later local history identifies Bikers NY as the group's later motorcycle-club form and describes the earlier group as originally known as the South 9th Bikers.<ref name="BikersNY" /> The source does not provide a charter, incorporation record, complete membership list or precise date of reorganization.

The transition is therefore described as organizational descent rather than automatic renaming. It may have involved continuing personnel and neighborhood identity, but the reviewed evidence does not prove uninterrupted institutional continuity.
