==Conflict and later history== The local history reports battles with the Latin Percussions and says that the Arabian Knights later became more outlaw-oriented under Olva's leadership.<ref name="CNYSG" /> The wording records a local historical characterization, but the available source does not provide a complete incident list, membership roll, court record or independently verified command structure. A contemporary oral-history account of Williamsburg street organizations describes the Dukes and Arabian Knights as rival clubs during a gang-related 1980 incident. The account is a personal recollection and includes disputed identification and responsibility; it is therefore evidence of the clubs' presence in the neighborhood and the existence of conflict, not proof that every member participated or that the clubs were continuously organized in the same form.<ref name="VICE">[https://www.vice.com/en/article/fashion-v13n10/ “Gangs of Old New York”], ''Vice'', oral-history feature.</ref> The Arabian Knights are also associated in later local remembrance with the Southside Williamsburg community documented by the 1984 film ''Los Sures'' and its restoration project. That association should be treated as local cultural and historical context unless the film or production records identify the group directly.<ref name="LosSures" /><ref name="CNYSG" />
