Editing South 9 Bikers (section)

==Territory and relationships==
The oral-history account places the South 9 Bikers' territory around Broadway, extending from near Havemeyer Street toward the area where the Hasidic community began. It places the Unknown Bikers on a different section of Southside Williamsburg and the Dukes farther east around Roebling Street and South Third Street.<ref name="VICE" /> These boundaries are a participant's recollection rather than an official map or complete contemporary survey.

The same account says that the Unknown Bikers and South 9 Bikers were already socially connected before Alicat spent more time with the South 9 group in early 1980.<ref name="VICE" /> Association and movement between clubs do not establish merger or subordination.

The South 9 Bikers were also described as being in conflict with the Dukes and Arabian Knights during a 1980 incident recalled in the oral history. The account includes disputed personal identification and responsibility; it should be cited as a recollection of inter-club conflict, not as an adjudicated roster or finding against every member.<ref name="VICE" />
